‘Tower of Fortune and the Bones of Destiny’ is out now on iOS and Android in Japan – TouchArcade

Spike Chunsoft released a game for the Nintendo DS three years ago. Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer for iOS and Android in Japan. The Nintendo DS release was actually a port of the SNES version. It was released in English on the DS in 2008 by SEGA in North America. Unfortunately, Spike Chunsoft never localized it for mobile devices. Today the company released Wanderer Shiren: Tower of Fortune and Bones of Destiny (rather verbose name) on mobile (via gamecast) in Japan as a premium release. Wanderer Shiren: Tower of Fortune and Bones of Destiny is a great roguelike that debuted outside of Japan on PS Vita and recently released in expanded form on PC and Nintendo Switch. Read Sean’s overview of the Switch version here. This mobile version uses the enhanced Nintendo Switch and PC versions as a base, with both portrait and landscape support. Check out the trailer for the mobile version below:

At the moment, Wanderer Shiren: Tower of Fortune and Bones of Destiny available outside of Japan on PC and Nintendo Switch for US$19.99. If you want to get the Japanese mobile version, you can get it for 2200 yen from the iOS App Store. here and Google Play for Android here. I contacted Spike Chunsoft about a potential localization of this version for the West. I hope he shows up, but we’re still waiting for a hint of news for Danganronpa V3 on mobile devices, which was delayed last May. When I was playing Wanderer Shiren: Tower of Fortune and Bones of Destiny on the PS Vita, I was hoping it would be ported to something in the future because more people needed to play it. Hopefully, now that the game is out on PC and Nintendo Switch, Spike Chunsoft is considering giving mobile players outside of Japan the chance to experience this excellent roguelike game on their phone as a premium version. you played Wanderer Shiren: Tower of Fortune and Bones of Destiny on any platform before?
