Sony has just released a big firmware update for PS5 and PS4 with details on many new features. here. Along with the console updates, Sony has confirmed that PlayStation App (Free) will be able to allow users to create or join public and private parties in the app. The update will be rolled out gradually and will also include a new interface to match the party console interface and chat sections. Along with the update released today for PS application, PS Remote Play The (free) app just got dark mode support to match your phone’s system mode setting for light/dark and more. The remote play app also received new screen reader languages for iOS and Android, including Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), Finnish, Swedish, Turkish, Greek, Thai, and Chinese (Traditional and Simplified). It’s great to see Sony continue to improve and update both of their iOS and Android apps.
