Central Financial institution of Pakistan raises key price through 100 foundation issues to 16% to curb inflation

The Central Financial institution of Pakistan raised its key price through 100 foundation issues to 16% on Friday, the financial institution stated in a remark following a gathering of the financial coverage committee.

“This determination displays the MPC’s view that inflationary pressures are more potent and extra resilient than anticipated,” the central financial institution stated in a remark.

The financial institution saved the speed unchanged at its closing two conferences in October and September.
